How to Install Your SWAPRED Screen Protector

Getting a perfect, bubble-free install takes about 5 minutes. Read through all the steps before you start.

What's in the Box

• SWAPRED screen protector
• Dust removal sticker
• Microfiber cleaning cloth
• Wet wipe
• Installation tray (holds the protector aligned to your phone)

Before You Start

• Find a clean, well-lit indoor space — avoid dusty or high-traffic areas
• Wash and dry your hands thoroughly
• Turn your iPhone screen on so you can clearly see any dust or fingerprints

Installation Steps

Step 1 — Clean your screen Use the wet wipe to clean your iPhone screen thoroughly. Let it dry completely before moving on — do not rush this step.

Step 2 — Remove dust Use the microfiber cloth to buff the screen, then use the dust removal sticker to lift any remaining particles. Pat gently — do not drag the sticker across the screen.

Step 3 — Align the tray Place your iPhone into the installation tray. The tray is model-specific and will hold your phone in the correct position so the protector lines up perfectly with your screen, camera cutout, and speaker.

Step 4 — Peel the backing Carefully peel the backing film from the SWAPRED screen protector. Hold it by the edges only — avoid touching the adhesive side.

Step 5 — Apply the protector With your phone sitting in the tray, lower the screen protector straight down onto the screen. Do not slide it into position — lower it straight down. The tray ensures alignment, so trust it.

Step 6 — Press and secure Once the protector makes contact, press firmly from the center outward using your finger or the microfiber cloth. Work any bubbles toward the edges.

Step 7 — Remove the suction tab slowly If your protector includes a suction or dust removal tab, pull it straight up and away — do not pull it sideways or at an angle. Pulling it to the side is the most common cause of the protector tearing. Slow and straight is the key.

Troubleshooting

Bubbles that won't go away Small bubbles near the edges usually disappear within 24–48 hours as the adhesive settles. If bubbles persist in the center of the screen, lift that corner gently with a fingernail and use the dust removal sticker to clean underneath before reapplying.

Protector tore during installation If the screen protector tears during installation — particularly when removing the tab — this is covered under our warranty. Email support@swapred.com with your order number and a photo and we'll send a replacement at no charge.

Screen looks misaligned If you need to reposition, act quickly — lift one edge gently before the adhesive fully bonds and reposition. Once fully bonded, repositioning is not recommended.

Tips for Best Results

• Do not apply in a dusty room or near an open window
• Do not apply over a cracked screen — the adhesive needs a flat, clean surface
